Electronic Cigarettes Can Help Smokers Quit

It looks like a cigarette and feels like a cigarette, but it’s not a conventional tobacco cigarette. Electronic cigarettes or e-cigarettes simulate the smoking experience without the stench, expense and health problems of tobacco products. The electronic devices can be integrated into a smoker’s stop-smoking program. Many smokers have successfully stopped smoking tobacco with these devices.
What are E-Cigarettes?
These are small, cigar-shaped wands run by lithium batteries, which often can be recharged. Inside the chamber are a vaporization unit and a disposable nicotine cartridge. The nicotine is the addictive chemical in tobacco that gets smokers hooked. An e-cigarette releases nicotine water vapor into a smoker’s mouth, simulating the effect of smoking and delivering needed nicotine without also releasing tobacco smoke.
Nicotine cartridges are made with varying concentrations of nicotine. Over time, a smoker is supposed to use less and less concentrated nicotine until they do not need any at all. A smoker still needs will power and a support network of friends and family to quit, but having a substitute cigarette can help smokers that repeated fall off the wagon after failed attempts to go cold turkey.
Taste Sensations
Not many smokers become addicted to cigarettes because of the tobacco taste. But taste can be used in e-cigarettes to encourage a smoker to quit. Liquid nicotine cartridges come in many different flavors, including cappuccino, spearmint and cola. Comforting flavors can help stimulate the pleasure centers of the brain and help a smoker to reach for an e-cigarette rather than a tobacco cigarette.

Led Indoor Lighting

LED indoor lighting has come a long way in the last 10 years. There was a time when LED was not a practical home choice, but now, it’s just about the best choice on the market. So what is the difference? What changed with LED?

Long before it was available for homes, LEDs were small low-power lights used as indicators on VCRs and hand-held electronics. They weren’t available in the kind of wattage you would need to light a room. But research continued and in 2003 that all changed. The first LED home light bulbs came out.

These early LEDs were very limited. Sure, they saved lots of power, but they were expensive to manufacture. More to the point, they were only available in one color: a super white tone of light. If you don’t know, people respond poorly to really white light because it is not like any natural light you’ll ever find. We want something that makes us feel like we are outdoors or curled up by a cozy fire.

Within a few years however, as more companies entered into competition on the LED market, they developed a lot of innovations. Instead of being cold like office tube lights, LEDs were now available in natural-seeming colors. This includes soft whites and off-yellows that mimic sunlight. These colors make people feel happy and full of energy. In fact, LEDs are now available in every color of the spectrum plus UV and infra-red light.

With this range of availability, plus the cost savings and efficiency, LED indoor lighting has become the best choice.
